This fast-growing scale-up helps industrial and manufacturing organizations digitize and streamline workforce competency management. Their platform gives operators, team leads, and executives real-time visibility into skills, certifications, and compliance across multiple sites, driving safer operations, higher productivity, and continuous improvement. Backed by a recent €6M growth investment, they are expanding rapidly in their Amsterdam HQ. The position

What You’ll Do as Senior Account Manager

Commercial Ownership (70%)

  • Own renewals, upsells, and cross-sell outcomes across your customer portfolio.
  • Map complex manufacturing organizations and identify new factories, regions, and business units to expand into.
  • Build account plans and guide expansion toward regional/global agreements (supported by SDRs).
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure customers realize measurable value and convert that into revenue growth.
  • Lead commercial conversations with executives; run business reviews and influence strategic decisions.
  • Maintain accurate contracts and alignment across CRM, CS tooling, and finance.
  • Accurately forecast renewals, growth, and risks.

Collaboration & Pipeline (20%)

  • Join weekly/monthly/quarterly sales meetings.
  • Work with a BDR to develop pipeline within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Onboarding, and CS to deliver a unified customer experience.
  • Receive coaching and deal support from sales leadership.

Reporting & Hygiene (10%)

  • Maintain strong CRM hygiene: account maps, org charts, notes, tasks.
  • Manage pipeline and forecasting with consistency and discipline.

Tasks & responsibilities

 

Candidate profile

  • 5+ years in commercial roles (ideally SaaS).
  • 2+ years working with Enterprise/Strategic accounts.
  • Skilled in Enterprise and C-suite selling and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication skills in English & German.
  • Experience carrying €500K+ ARR and working with €50–300K ACV.
  • Proven track record in renewals, expansions, and accurate forecasting.
  • Familiar with Challenger, MEDDIC, or SPIN (a plus).
  • Strong CRM discipline and an insights-driven approach.
  • A true sales enthusiast who embraces processes, methodologies, and continuous improvement.

The offer
